AccordingtotheNotes,thevisaofficerbasedherdecisiononthefollowingpoints:
(1)Resultofhertelephoneenquiryindicatedthattheparentsdidnotgotoworkatthefurniturestoreregularly.
(2)Thewagesfigurecontainedinthebalancesheetprovidedbythefatherwerenotcoistentwiththesalarysheets.Shethereforecametotheconclusionthatoneofthetwodocumentsmusthavebeenfalsified.
(3)Namecardsofthefather’spartnersandpricelistssubmittedwerecoideredirrelevanttothecase.Thevisaofficerindicatedthattheparentsdidnotproducetheirownnamecardsandtheemployer’sletterwasnotwrittenonproperletterheads.Thevisaofficercoideredthatthebankdepositbooksshouldbestampedbytwoemployeesfromthebank,butonebookhadonlyonestamp.
