这是外研社高中英语课本选修8第一模块的作文练习，船长Shackleton招募船员去南极探险，要求根据广告内容写一篇应征信。这是梅姐的学生写的，适当做了修改，都很棒，值得大家模仿哦！

求职信写作训练

Shackleton的招聘广告：

Men wanted for difficult journey. Small wages, bitter cold, long months of complete darkness, constant danger, safe return doubtful. Honor and recognition in case of success. Shackleton

根据以上广告写一封回信，包括如下内容：

1)What things you are good at.  

2)Why you want to go to the South Pole.  

3)Why you will be a useful member of the crew.

写作思路：

1.  先审题以抓住以下要点：

   1）体裁：求职信（语气要正式礼貌）。

   2）人称：第一人称。

   3）时态：主要一般现在时。

2.   审阅所给提示，找出要点（擅长什么；去的原因；在哪些方面发挥作用）

3. 头脑风暴可能用到的短语句型，上下文连接词等。

4. 连词成句，连句成篇。

DearMr. Shackleton,

  I’ve just learned about your journey from the newspaper and I decided to join you the instant（连词=as soon as) I saw it! It’s my dream to go on such a fantastic journey（形容词有感染力）! And this dream never fails to attract me（双重否定增加力度）.

  Well, you may be disappointed as soon as you know that I’m a young girl, but I can ensure（保证） you that I’m never a person taken care of by others（过去分词）. I’m good at taking photos because it’s been my hobby for years. I will definitely be a useful member of your crew. Not only can I take photos of the highlights of the trip, but I also can keep a diary to help record the journey（很棒的not only倒装句型）. Your eyes may open wide, and your jaw may drop（眼睛大睁，下巴掉落，生动表达了“吃惊”） when you find my bravery and stamina（勇敢和耐力）!

As I have some skills in first aid, I can help in case of emergency. It can be useful when we are on the inhospitable continent of Antarctica. And I am good at writing, too. I can keep our journey diaries, recording everything that happensduring our trip so as to provide some useful information for the next generation.
